DRAKESBORO – Troy Martin Tatum, 46, of Drakesboro, died Saturday, March 24, 2011, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Tatum was born September 17, 1965 in Muhlenberg County, he was an iron worker and a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Samantha Tatum of Drakesboro, one son, Christian Tatum of Drakesboro, his parents, Henry and Myrna Tatum of Drakesboro, two brothers, Kevin Tatum of Greenville and Carlos (Lori) Tatum of Central City, three step sons, Daniel Edwards, Jacob Edwards and Christopher Edwards all of Cleaton, two nephews, Jared and Preston Tatum and one niece, Lauren Jill Mercer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, at the Riverside Baptist Church in Drakesboro, conducted by Rev. Greg Brooks and Rev. Todd Cartwright with burial to follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM, Monday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Mr. Tatum will lie in state at the Riverside Baptist Church, Tuesday after 9:00 AM.
