CENTRAL CITY - Uneeda "Needa" Lee Jenkins, 89, of Central City, died Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 4:12AM at her home. Mrs. Jenkins was born March 23, 1929, in Echols, KY. She was a homemaker. Needa loved her Lord and served Him faithfully. She was delighted to worship at Pond Run Baptist Church, which is served by her beloved Pastor "Doc" Crowe. She especially enjoyed her Tuesday Lunch Bunch with family and friends, as they meet every week at various local restaurants. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Myrtle Fulkerson Bowen; husband of 57 years, Earl Jenkins, whom she married on February 8, 1947; granddaughter Kimberly Pepperell; and sister Kathleen Bowen.

Needa will be missed by her children, Jean (Dave) Pepperell and Earl (Carrie) Jenkins; grandchildren Kristoffer (Michele) Pepperell, Kurt (Nicole) Pepperell, Kyle (Marissa) Pepperell, Kasey (Greg) Gandenberger, Jesse McCann, Rachel (Bo) Jenkins, Katie (Mark) Kurlyandchik, and James Jenkins; great-grandchildren Grace Pepperell, Addison Pepperell, Averie Pepperell, Holden Pepperell, Evelyn Pepperell, Cillian Gandenberger, Bennet Gandenberger, Alice Gandenberger, Valentin Kurlyandchik, and Sebastian Kurlyandchik (expected).; siblings Conrad Bowen, Barbara Casebier, Sue Noffsinger, Faye Warren, and Raye Donvan; and several very special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Alton "Doc" Crowe and Pastor Dave Pepperell officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. The family would like to thank all of those who made Needa's life a joy.
