MONROE, NC – Vacova Mae Fulton Berryhill, 65, of Monroe, NC, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2017, while surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born August 27, 1951, in Rockport, KY. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Fulton; and her sister, Vanessa Robinson.

She is survived by her mother, Wilma Garrett Fulton, of Monroe, NC; her husband, Fred Berryhill of Monroe, NC; daughter, Lisa Wilshire of Beaver Dam, KY; and sons John Fulton of Manitowoc, WI and Daniel Berryhill of Monroe, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Mata Tassic of Illinois; brothers Glen Fulton of Wisconsin, Billy Fulton of Michigan, Howard Fulton of Illinois, and Robert Fulton of Wisconson; grandchildren Matthew, James, and Jacob Sloyan, Jasmine Sturtz, and Tyler Krueger; three step-children; and several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
