BELTON - Walter Leonard "Freddie" Brewer, Sr., 75, of Belton, died Thursday, April 2, 2020, at 1:52AM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Brewer was born June 7, 1944, in Drakesboro. He was a retired coal miner and member of Horton's Chapel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Brewer and Melvie Buchanan Brewer; brothers Billy Brewer, Harold Brewer, Paul Brewer, and Bobby Brewer; and sister Peggy Goad.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Joines Brewer; son Walter Leonard (Gina) Brewer, Jr., of Belton; daughters Gail (Jimmy) Way and Lora (Wes) McPherson, both of Belton; grandchildren Selena McPherson, Sarah McPherson, and Scott Brewer; step-granddaughter Tami Foster; sisters Betty Johnson of Browder and Freda Tooney of Greenville; and brothers Jimmy Brewer of Belton, David Earl Brewer of Madisonville, Jackie Brewer of Central City, and Roger Brewer of Russellville.
