DRAKESBORO - Wanda Faye Evitts, 75, of Drakesboro, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 3:14PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Evitts was born November 25, 1940, in Drakesboro. She was retired from Muhlenberg Community Hospital as Housekeeping Lead, and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She loved Jehovah and her faith, and she loved serving and spreading his word. She also loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was humble and had such a sweet spirit about her. She was "one of a kind". She was preceded in death by her mother, Maymie Bell Schmidt; father Chauncy Crowe; and grandmother, Maw Arnold, who raised her.

She is survived by her children, Dale Wayne Evitts of Drakesboro, Charles Mitchell Evitts of Drakesboro, and Pamela Jean (Robert) Evitts-Camara of O'Fallon, MO; grandchildren Stephanie, Jonathon, Lindsey, Adam, Christopher, Leah, Lucas, Daniel, Joseph, and Rachel; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Martin Nale officiating. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
