Patriotic Emblem

DRAKESBORO - William Bland Gossom, 66, of Drakesboro, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at 7:29PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Gossom was born June 26, 1950, in Warren County. He was a Master Sergeant with the National Guard, serving his country for 38 years. He was a member of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and maintenance man.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Hunt Gossom; sons Adam (Laura) Gossom of Bardstown and Jason (Dana) Gossom of Bowling Green; daughters Amy (Michael) Goodson of Bowling Green, Sandy (Brandon) Shemwell of Drakesboro, Pam (Jared) Grogan of Bremen, and Kalin Hunt of Drakesboro; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister Nancy (Pat) Shannon of Franklin, TN.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Larry Lile officiating, assisted by Matthew Lile. Burial in Peanut Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
