CENTRAL CITY - William Douglas Avery, 92, of Central City, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 10:50AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Avery was born February 14, 1924, in Muhlenberg County. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his son, William Lynn (Reba) Avery of Central City; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gayle Avery of California.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 23, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
