GREENVILLE - William Vincent, 92, of Greenville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Long Term Care. Mr. Vincent was born May 13, 1925, in Muhlenberg County, the son of John William "J.W." Vincent and Montie Vincent. He was manager of Stewart's IGA in Greenville for 40 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Irene Dukes.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Christine Peay Vincent of Greenville; children Bill (Chauncia) Vincent, Dicky (Debra) Vincent, and Carolyn (E.T.) Pendley; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister Hildred Martin of Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 23, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 11:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
