BREMEN - Norman Wayne Tooley, 70, of Bremen, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11:42AM at Baptist Health Madisonville. Mr. Tooley was born September 12, 1942 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and member of Trinity Pentecostal Church. He loved to fish, tinker with old tractors and race cars, and gardening, and he loved the mission field. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Ray Tooley and Bessie Wakeland Tooley; and brother Danny C. Tooley.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Harper Tooley; daughter Latricia (Tom) King of Sacramento; grandchildren Crystal King and Josh Wayne King; great-grandchildren Landon Cole Stanley and Tarynn Grace Stanley; sisters Rebecca (John) Chin of Beaver Dam and Jetta (Paul) Morse of Owensboro; brothers Wendall (Diane) Tooley of Illinois, Dwight (Brenda) Tooley of Sacramento, Teddy (Rita) Tooley of Sacramento, Gary (Lanie) Tooley of Bremen, and Brad Tooley of French Lick, IN.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Allen Harris officiating, assisted by Rev. Beverly Gish. Burial in Briar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
